Epson showcasing projectors in lucrative Middle Eastern markets
Epson is looking to stake its place in the lucrative Middle Eastern education projector market by showcasing a wide range of its products at the 3rd International Exhibition and Forum for Education (IEFE) in Saudi Arabia this week.
The international projector brand is a Gold Sponsor of the five-day event at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is a particularly notable market for projector manufacturers, after a budget of 204 billion riyals (£41.3 billion) was set for education expenditure for 2013.
The budget makes the kingdom the world’s leader in education spending and the country is looking to make its education provisions as high-tech as possible, with projectors becoming an integral tool in every classroom.
At the forefront of the Epson display at IEFE 2013 will be its interactive projectors – including the EB-475Wi and EB-485Wi – and the new EB-1410W ultra-short throw projectors.
The general manager of Epson Middle East, Khalil E-Dalu, said that the brand has a long-standing relationship with educational institutions in the kingdom and they want to sustain and develop that.
