Epson, the leading projector brand worldwide, has announced the launch of the Pro L25000U installation laser projector, the world's first 3LCD laser projector aimed at the large venue and staging markets.

The projector packs 25,000 lumens of full-colour brightness, as well as 25,000 lumens of white brightness. The Pro L25000U also utilises a sealed optical engine that has a laser-light source with an inorganic phosphor wheel. This allows it to operate up to 20,000 hours without the need to maintain the unit or change the lamp.

The Pro L25000U also features 4K-ready-powered lenses with lens shift and lens memory technology, as well as 360-degree installation flexibility. Leveraging Epson's proprietary 4K Enhancement technology, the new projector can handle 4K input with ease and even strengthens 1080p signals by allowing them to surpass Full HD image quality. It also utilises advanced edge blending and auto image calibration to create an immersive experience.

Finally, the projector comes with a number of inputs including HDBaseT, 3G-SDI capabilities and is fully compatible with Crestron RoomView, AMX, Extron, XTP, Control4 and Art-Net for full integration with other projection systems.

Phong Phanel, the product manager for large venue projectors at Epson America Inc, said of the new model: "The Pro L25000U is a game changer, opening new markets and putting Epson in a position to lead the laser-phosphor market. The Pro L25000U has already garnered phenomenal feedback from the A/V community, receiving awards and attention for its superior brightness and sharp colour output. We are excited to see these projector features help expand the Rental & Staging market."
