Epson projectors win 'Best in Classroom' awards

Two Epson projectors scooped “Best in Classroom” gongs in AV review website Projector Reviews’ annual awards for education projectors.

The BrightLink 455Wi won in the interactive projector category for its image quality, resolution and easy-to-use interactive features, while the PowerLite 96W took an award in the non-interactive projector category for its image quality and advanced feature set, including HDMI, USB Plug 'n Play, price, and advanced networking and optional wireless.

Art Feierman, editor of Projector Reviews, said both projectors stood out as “top products in the education projector market for their great colour, brightness, extensive networking, excellent input and output flexibility, and advanced feature sets."

He continued: "I believe interactive projectors are a powerful new tool for learning and information retention, and the BrightLink 455Wi is the most advanced interactive projector available, with solid, well thought out, easy to use features. And the PowerLite 96W packs a lot of punch for its price and has a lot to offer the K-12 educator."

With its interactive projector and pen combination, the BrightLink 455Wi is an ultra-short throw solution, offering image size flexibility and advanced connectivity options to project onto a whiteboard, wall, table, or other smooth, light-coloured, hard surface.

The PowerLite 96W is a budget-friendly projector offering 2,700 lumens brightness with WXGA resolution, allowing teachers to make full use of widescreen content.
