A new home cinema projector package from Epson is promising high quality media streaming from a range of popular devices.
The Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 2000 3LCD was developed to provide the big screen experience by connecting with media streaming systems including Google Chromecast, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku Stick. Users can plug in and view wherever they are via the portable projector which was created to show streamed content to 1080p HD.
Epson America marketing manager, Jason Palmer, said: "Big screens are no longer just for viewing Blu-ray movies in dedicated home theatre rooms.
“With two HDMI connections, one of which is MHL-enabled, users can seamlessly connect their device to watch and play on screens up to 300-inches for a unique and amazing experience."
The Home Cinema 2000’s MHL-enabled HDMI port means users can instantly access content including live sporting events, TV programmes and new films from devices that are supported by MHL.
The system has built-in sound and also connections to add speakers to enhance the experience. It comes complete with six colour pre-set choices which allows the user to tailor the picture depending on the content they are viewing.
