Projector manufacturer Epson Malaysia has launched the new EB-G6000 series of multimedia projectors for use in large venues such as educational settings or entertainment locations.
Each projector in the series has a brightness rating of between 5,200 and 7,000 lumens with a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000:1, making them ideal for use in larger venues. Each device is also designed to monitor and automatically adjust the brightness and contrast for different settings.
All of the projectors within the EB-G6000 series are enhanced with edge blending capability that blends overlapping images from multiple projections to create an even large projected image.
Each of the six models also uses 3LCD technology to produce clear and colourful images and feature Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) mode that produces images with clear shadows to allow the projection of medical images including X-rays.
Two projectors within the series, the EB-G6800 and the EB-G6900WU, have enhanced features that enable projection of curved surfaces without distortion. Both projectors also accept long distance transmission of uncompressed high definition video, audio and data thanks to their support of HDBaseT interface.
