With the aim of bringing 3D to even more homes, Epson has recently launched two new 3D HD projector for this market, the EH-TW5200 and the EH-TW8200.

The new Epson EH-TW5200 has been billed as Epson’s most affordable 3D HD model yet and has many of the same features as a lot of the brand’s top-range models. These include HD 1020P resolution and a 480 hertz 3D drive for superior brightness and clarity.

A horizontal keystone slider has also been introduced so that users can adjust keystone distortions very quickly and easily.

Meanwhile, the EH-TW8200 offers a dynamic contrast ratio of 600,000:1 and boasts a fully immersive picture experience for viewers, Epson says. The projector has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a zoom range of 2.1X for a clear focus.

A spokesperson for Epson said: “The 3D home entertainment market is growing at a feverish pace, with customers increasingly indulging in high-quality imaging solutions for their personal use. The Epson EH-TW8200 is targeted at the rapidly rising consumer desire to enjoy high quality 3D viewing.”

He added: “We are delighted to present our latest offering that offers the right mix of image quality and colour accuracy along with an array of innovative features to the users.”
