Epson’s EB-475Wi projector has been declared the Interactive Presentation Product of the Year at the AV Awards 2012.

The projector has proven to be an invaluable asset to the school projector market offering, aiding with the development of more engaging learning environments, according to the judges from industry organisation and magazine, AV.

AV said, “The projector removes the need for an interactive whiteboard, which could help to keep running costs low, in a time when budgets in education are being stretched more and more.”

The judges lauded the projector for being a “very well thought through product that provides projectors buyers with a real alternative”. They also said that it has brought interactivity to a level of usage in spaces and venues that users had never been able to consider it in the past.

The WXGA projector is a physically versatile device that can be mounted in four different positions, offering maximum options for a classroom. It can be mounted on a wall, ceiling, the side of a desk or under a desk, providing greater flexibility when teaching.

The images thrown by the EB-475Wi benefit from automatic calibration, saving time and enhancing its conveniences. The unit also features a built-in 16W speaker.
