Top selling projector brand Epson has announced an update to its large-venue based PowerLite Pro Z projector line, including nine projectors all featuring WUXGA resolution.

Designed for use in larger venues, such as galleries or conference rooms, the Pro Z series provides a higher resolution than the previous line as well as a number of powerful performance features and display capabilities.

Delivering between 7,500 lumens and 11,000 lumens of brightness and colour brightness, the new projectors each boast native full HD 1080p support, HDBaseT connectivity and the option of a portrait mode projection.

The additional features available on each of the new line include the lamp select/relay, providing users with the option to use a single lamp or run between two to save energy, as well as new lens options, offering users the chance to choose between a range of lenses including short-throw and wide-throw.

All of the projectors feature Epson's latest 3-chip 3LCD technology, providing three times brighter colours than leading competitors, according to the firm. Sean Gunduz, senior product manager of projectors at Epson, believes that the new series can fulfil users' needs within any environment.

He said: "With this new series of PowerLite Pro Z projectors, Epson truly provides installers and end-users with powerful large venue projectors that fulfil their high brightness, high resolution and advanced connectivity needs for almost any type of venue."
