Christie Digital has unveiled their new GS Series of laser phosphor projectors, each providing up to 20,000 hours of operation and eliminating the cost of lamp and filter maintenance and replacements.
Powered by a solid state illumination, high resolution 1-chip DLP laser-diode, the new projector series comes in WXGA, WUXGA and HD, providing cost effective display solutions aimed at medium-sized venues such as boardrooms, conferences, education settings and entertainment venues.
Each of the projectors comes complete with a number of advanced features including effective colour matching, optional blending and warping, for curved surfaces. The devices are also built with wireless capabilities and suit a number of various lenses to increase each projector's versatility.
The new GS Series is easy to install, providing Display Port, HDMI, DVI and HDBaseT connectivity, and provides 5,400 ANSI lumens of brightness in any situation, making it ideal for use in unusual or frequently changing environments, such as classrooms.
Mike Garrido, senior product manager for Christie Digital Systems, believes that the new series reflects a level of innovation that only Christie can deliver to customers. He said: “The move to laser phosphor technology with the Christie 1-chip GS Series means a better combination of brilliant images, high performance and durability, while improving on a low cost of ownership."
