Christie has displayed new innovations in audio-visual technology at an event in the Philippines.

The company had a strong presence at Palmm Philippines, which took place at the SMX Ground Floor Convention Center in Manila at the weekend.

Over the three days of the event, some 20,000 attended to see the very latest developments in projector technology, with Christie having three separate booths at the show.

Ken Wheatley, director of sales for Christie Asia Pacific, stated that the company worked with StageCraft, Amigo-Anzia and Electro-System for its presentation at this year's Palmm Philippines.

He said: "This event provides us with a great opportunity to reach out to more users and we are hopeful that through our increased collaborations with our partners, we'll be able to further enhance the Christie brand in the Philippines."

Among the Christie products on show at Palmm Philippines at the weekend was the Christie Roadster HD20K-J 3-chip DLP projector, as well as the versatile Christie Brio and Christie Spyder X20.

Mr Wheatley was also on hand to deliver a presentation titled Modern Day Visual Effects Application, which focused on the origin and applications of digital projection and digital display devices for live events.

Projector technology is increasingly being used in displays to create an engaging and arresting sight for people and as one of the leading companies in this field, Christie is pushing the boundaries of what its products can achieve.
