High-end projector manufacturer, Christie, has staged a major launch of new projectors, launching one complete new range – the G Series – and adding four new models to its E Series range.
The G Series has been designed to suit fixed projection applications. The two models in the series – the Christie DHD550-G and Christie DWU550-G – both provide 5,000 lumens of brightness through 1-chip DLP technology. These capabilities allow them to provide better price performance and higher brightness than other projectors in their price class.
The range is ideal for use in board and conference rooms, government, houses of worship, higher education facilities and a wide range of small venue applications.
Christie’s George Tsintzouras explained, “As customer requirements increase in a rapidly changing landscape, Christie is ahead of the curve in offering the affordable, yet feature-packed Christie G Series.
“The market has been asking for a product like this from Christie and we think our customers are going to love the new G series.”
The four new E Series projectors are the DHD675-E, the DWU675-E, the DHD775-E and the DWU775-E models. They are also built on 1-chip DLP technology and have a dual lamp design, which provides increased brightness ranging from 6,450 to 7,200 lumens. They also offer a choice between HD (1920 x 1080) and WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolutions, with contrast ratios of up to 5,000:1.
The new projectors are all scheduled to begin shipping in November.
