The digital production company Christie is currently previewing the its Mirage 4KLH platform.

This latest version incorporates all the benefits of the Mirage platform but in addition includes Christie Solid State Laser illumination technology which improves the brightness and flexibility.

The Mirage 4K platform is designed for 3D applications to provide advanced visualisation in various industries including oil and gas, government, military and location-based entertainment.

Furthermore, it supports both full 120Hz active stereo and passive stereo with optional external filters and polarised passive glasses with 3P illumination. In addition, the Mirage 4KLH system is also configurable with Christie's latest 6P illumination source.

Senior director of technology and visualisation solutions at the company, Larry Paul, said: "Christie, as the global leader in the visualisation market has the first and only projector in the world to provide full 4K DLP resolution at a true 120Hz. With this new Mirage 4KLH, Christie has raised the benchmark even higher with high performance visualisation solutions currently available on the market."
