Leading projector manufacturer Christie has been showing off its latest technological innovations at a top exhibition in China.
The company had a presence at the Beijing International Radio, TV & Film Exhibition (BIRTV) event, which was held at the China International Exhibition Center from 27-30 August.
Christie displayed the Christie Solaria Series DLP Digital Cinema projector at the event, along with the firm's new and innovative Christie Vive Audio solution.
Lin Yu, vice president of Christie Asia Pacific, stated that BIRTV offered a brilliant showcase of movie contents using the Christie Solaria Series and Christie Vive Audio. As Christie already has 85 years of experience and knowledge of the movie industry, the event was an excellent choice for the firm to show off its latest innovations.
Ms Yu added: "We are confident that this demonstration will deliver a spectacular experience for visitors and further reinforces Christie's position as a leader in the digital cinema projection market."
Christie has already been making strong progress in the Chinese market in the last few years and the company recently announced that it has sold 200 Christie CP2220 DLP Digital Cinema projectors to the China Film Group Corporation, which is the largest and most influential state-run film enterprise in China.
Along with the BIRTV exhibition, Christie was also in China to deliver its presentation titled 'The Implementation, Operation and Future of High-End Cinema Laser Projection' at the Grand Hall in the China Film Archives.
