Projector manufacturer Christie has announced it is offering a three-year warranty with sales of its popular MicroTiles product.
More than 50,000 units of the groundbreaking digital display technology have been installed in almost 1,000 locations since it was launched by Christie, with the warranty extended from two years to three.
The London Stock Exchange, Stanford University and the Cleveland Museum of Art are just three of the big name locations to have selected the projector technology.
"Extending the warranty from two to three years demonstrates Christie's continued confidence in MicroTiles," said Don Shaw, senior director of product management at Christie.
"Christie MicroTiles keep getting better and offer an unprecedented viewing experience."
The latest diffusion materials are used on Christie's MicroTiles innovation, which the company says means it offers the best brightness and wide viewing angles possible.
S310 screens seams have also been reduced to 0.7 mm on the latest models of the technology for near-seamlessness in a tiled display, the firm noted.
The fine-tuning of MicroTiles alignment has also been boosted by modified connection points, while Christie has hailed the new lens materials used on MicroTiles that provide superior reliability under the most demanding of conditions.
Furthermore, the factory calibration advancements made by Christie ensure the best possible colour matching between tiles.
