These comprise the Best of Show awards from Tech & Learning and Digital Signage magazines at InfoComm 2016, which took place in Las Vegas. The awards were for its LampFree XJ-F210WN Advanced Series Projector.
The main criteria that had to be satisfied in order to be nominated for these awards included design, usability and affordability. As a result, the LampFree XJ-F210WN Advanced Series Projector came first in the two awards.
The XJ-F210WN outputs around 3,500 lumens in overall brightness and employs a hybrid laser and LED projection system. Thanks to this technology, the projector provides up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free performance. What's more, the projector is said to use half the amount of power than traditional lamp-based models.
Furthermore, the projector can scan images using its ultra-short throw lens. And thanks to its wireless and other connectivity technology, the projector can also be used in collaborative situations, making it ideal for classrooms or business meetings, for example.
Joe Gillio, the senior director of strategic planning and marketing for Casio’s Business Projector Division, said of the awards: "Casio is continuously committed to providing its consumers with the most innovative and advanced technologies, and we are honoured to be awarded these prestigious distinctions by Tech & Learning and Digital Signage, cementing our place as the leading provider of hybrid light source projectors.
“The LampFree XJ-F210WN Advanced Series Projector provides consumers with ideal functionality and technology in a simple and convenient design."
