Casio unveils new Ecolite range of projectors

Technology manufacturer Casio has introduced three new models to its Ecolite series of eco-friendly, LampFree projectors, including the XJ-V2, XJ-V100W and XJ-V110W.

Introduced as part of Casio’s growing eco-focused collection in India, the new models include fifth generation Laser and LED Hybrid Light Source technology that reduces the power consumption of the devices by up to 50 per cent compared to the brand’s non-eco counterparts.

The projectors also feature a dust resistance design to reduce maintenance requirements, making them ideal for busy environments such as schools and offices.

According to Mr Kulbhushan Seth, the vice president of Casio India, the new projector range includes pioneering green technology, and also come with long life, high durability and low energy consumption to help reduce the total cost of ownership. The LED light source also removes the need for lamp replacement while increasing the approximate lamp life to 20,000 hours.

Mr Seth added: “The LampFree technology also ensures less maintenance and eliminates the need to replace expensive and hazardous mercury lamps, which makes them cost effective and safer for the environment.”

Individually, each of the projectors delivers impressive levels of brightness and an amplified colour spectrum that surpasses levels associated with eco-friendly devices. Both the XJ-V2 and the XJ-V100W projector provide impressive brightness of 3,000 lumens, while delivering a resolution of 1,024 x 768 or 1,200 x 800 pixels, respectively.

The XJ-V110W boasts even more impressive specifications, providing users with 3,500 lumens of brightness and 1,200 x 800, WXGA resolution that’s suitable for displaying content directly from video or computer sources.

The new projector range supports 360-degree installation that supports flexible image projection including portrait projector from vertical positioning or projection onto the floor or ceiling.

Each of the new Casio range also comes complete with a standard 3-year warranty on the main device, as well as a 5 year or 10,000-hour warranty on the Laser and LED hybrid light source.
