Casio showcases latest eco-friendly LampFree projector

Casio is showcasing its latest addition to its eco-friendly LampFree projector range at this year's InfoComm event.

The EcoLite XJ-Vi projector promises to offer exceptional performance at a far lower cost of operation thanks to Casio’s Laser and LED Hybrid Light Source and DLP Projection Technology.

The XJ-V1 has an estimated 20,000 hour lifespan with minimal brightness degradation, making it the perfect low-energy solution for schools and businesses.

In fact, with power consumption totalling no more than 180W, even at its brightest setting, this projector can reduce power consumption by up to 50 per cent.

The LampFree light source features a laser, fluorescent element and LEDs to produce exceptional image quality at a far lower cost. It also boasts a throw ratio of 1.54-1.7:1, produces 2,700 lumens of brightness, and has XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, making it perfect for displaying content from video and computer sources.

“We are extremely excited to attend InfoComm 2015 to celebrate our sixth year of LampFree by showcasing our new EcoLite XJ-V1,” said Joe Gillio, senior director strategic planning and marketing, of Casio’s Business Projector Division.

“As a pioneer in the digital projection space, it is essential to provide the business, education, and hospitality industries with features that are truly beneficial, including low maintenance and lower total cost of ownership, while still remaining eco-friendly.”
