Casio America has announced a new series of lamp-free, eco-friendly data projectors as part of an expansion of its projector business.
The electronics giant said the 12 new models have a number of innovative features, including an "eco" function that saves power by automatically adjusting brightness to suit the lighting conditions of the room.
The projectors are capable of achieving up to 3,500 lumens brightness and provide a powerful 3D graphic experience. Each model incorporates a full input/output interface with three types of video and audio inputs, as well as HDMI, RGB and RS-232 terminals.
Features include the Presentation Draw software for writing on the projector screen and the Interactive Whiteboard & Pointing function, which allows the presenter to control the PC by directing the pointer at the screen.
Another handy tool is the MobiShow® function, designed so that users can present wirelessly via any smartphone, computer and other mobile device equipped with wireless LAN capabilities. Alternatively, there is a USB 2.0 function, available in select models.
Frank Romeo, vice president of Casio's Business Projector Division, said, "Casio is thrilled to announce this new family of projectors along with its commitment to the expansion of its projector business.
"Our new line will provide our customers with all of the advantages of Casio's unique Laser & LED Hybrid Light Source plus superior brightness, an energy-saving interactive experience and features designed for the business, education, Pro AV, digital signage and home entertainment markets."
