Casio's EcoLite projector won the award for 'Best of Show' at InfoComm 2015 thanks to its durability, performance and value.
Casio America, Inc. announced that its new eco-friendly projector, the EcoLite XJ0V1, won the notable award at the international trade event, which took place in Orlando, Florida last month.
"Receiving this prominent distinction is extremely exciting and we couldn't be more proud to have been recognised by Government Video," said Joe Gillio, Senior Director Strategic Planning and Marketing, of Casio's Business Projector Division.
"We are thoroughly committed to providing our customers, including government agencies, with innovative solutions that take into account their individual and unique needs and our new EcoLite projector is a prime example of that."
The awards recognise the most impressive new products exhibited at InfoComm, taking into account the quality and value of each nominee.
The EcoLite XJ-Vi projector is designed to offer exceptional performance at a far lower cost of operation thanks to Casio’s Laser and LED Hybrid Light Source and DLP Projection Technology.
It consumes half the power per unit than traditional lamp-based projectors and eliminates the need to replace expensive lamps, making it both eco-friendly and cost effective.
The LampFree light source features a laser, fluorescent element and LEDs to produce exceptional image quality at a far lower cost. It also boasts a throw ratio of 1.54-1.7:1, produces 2,700 lumens of brightness, and has XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, making it perfect for displaying content from video and computer sources.
