Casio has taken the InfoComm technology conference by storm with demonstrations of its latest ultra short throw projector, as well as the SLIM and Signature projector series.
Powered by Laser and LED Hybrid Light Source technology, each projector features LampFree and eco-friendly projection that creates images while lowering the overall cost of ownership compared to traditional projectors.
The company's hybrid light source combines a laser, fluorescent element and LEDs to create a higher brightness than lamp projectors. The light source also provides a 30 per cent increase in LED light output for the SLIM series, Signature series and the XJ-UT310WN ultra short throw projector.
The SLIM series of projectors were designed for portable use and thus only weight five pounds, but the Signature series is aimed at a broader education and corporate markets, coming equipped with 2 GB of built-in memory and versatility with regards to file format.
Each projector in the new series' provides users with remote operation capabilities, Intelligent Brightness Control and the company's own MobiShow, which allows wireless presentations via smartphone, computer or any other mobile device.
The WXGA XJ-UT310WN is designed specifically for the education market and comes complete with a suite of application tools to enable easy integration of mobile technology. The projector also offers users a brightness level of up to 3,100 lumens with an impressive short throw ratio of 0.28:1, which is ideal for a classroom setting.
