Canon has launched the latest projector in its ultra-portable LV series, aimed at business and educational users.

Designed for people who require high specification and low maintenance, the LV-8320 is easy to operate and combines performance and portability.

It offers strong image detail and clear projections with a brightness of 3,000 lumens, and its widescreen resolution (1280 x 800 pixels) works with presentations from laptops and other widescreen devices.

It also features split-screen functions, supporting HDMI, and includes a built-in 10-Watt speaker and a stereo audio line out for connection to an external amplifier for better sound quality.

Thanks to the 1.6 x zoom lens which can project 100-inch images between distances of 2.5m and 4.1m, users have more choice over where the projector is positioned. This makes the LV-8320 suited to most environments, including rooms with furniture in view.

Julian Rutland, Canon's visual communication product and solutions director, said, "The LV-8320 is one of the most innovative projectors available within a price range that is still accessible to small to medium-sized businesses, schools and colleges.

"We're developing our technology to meet ever-evolving customer needs and as we have proved with our existing line up of LV products, there is a Canon projector solution for every business environment."
