Canon Launches New Range of Multimedia Projectors

Canon has announced the launch of a new range of multimedia projectors dedicated to helping professionals add colour and clarity to their content, no matter what the setting.

The new LV-HD420 Full HD and LV-X420 have been designed to adapt to a variety of environments including higher education, galleries and museums and business settings, all of which require unrivalled image quality.

This adaptability also stretches to the new devices’ portability: both projectors are designed to be equally at home within a fixed installation setting and environments requiring a more compact and portable projection device.

According to Andreas Herrnböck, European Business Development Manager for Projector and Visual Communications at Canon Europe, these multimedia devices also offer 4,200 lumens of brightness and a convenient 3.4 kg body, making them even more suitable for changeable environments.

“We are excited to be able to deliver a new range of projectors that allow professionals from a wide range of industries to be able to bring their content to life in high-quality projection,” he said.

“Thanks to these latest additions, we are now able to offer customers a wide range of products engineered to meet the various applications for high quality displays.”

Aside from their brightness and compact size, the LV-HD420 and LV-X420 projectors offer full HD (1920 x 1080) and XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, as well as impressive contrast ratios of 8,000:1.

Furthermore, the celebrated BrilliantColor system has been included in both devices to provide a range of highly flexible image adjustment and clarity for both 2D and 3D sources.

Both projectors benefit from low running costs and simplified installation options to ensure ease of use in any setting.
