Canon has unveiled five new multimedia LCD projectors, which offer sharp images and bright projections.
The ultra-portable LV series has been updated with five models - the LV-8225, LV-7490 , LV-7390, LV-7295 and LV-7290 - all of which feature a wide-angle 1.2x zoom projection lens and a 10W speaker.
The new projectors offer XGA resolutions for sharp image detail and bright, clear projections - except for the LV-8225, which features native WXGA resolution.
With an extended lamp life of up to 6,000 hours, filters that boast a service life of up to 5,500 hours and a power consumption of less than 1W in standby mode, these devices are designed to be energy efficient.
The LV-8225 has a resolution of 1,280 by 800 pixels and a 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio, with a 2,500 lumens output.
Offering 4,000 lumens, the LV-7490 is the brightest projector of the five, making it suitable for larger venues or those with more ambient light.
The LV-7390, LV-7295 and LV-7290 have brightness levels of 3,000, 2,600 and 2,200 lumens, respectively.
Julian Rutland, Canon's visual communication product and solutions director, said: "We are pleased to update our LV range to offer businesses of all sizes and budgets a range of cost-effective options with no compromise on quality.”
The five new projectors will be available from April.
