Film fans in Birmingham can watch some classic movies in the great outdoors this summer.
From Friday night (8 August), Mac Birmingham will be showing movies in its open air arena, with Alien the first picture to be screened this week.
Back to the Future follows on 22 August, before Invasion of the Body Snatchers on 5 September and Star Trek: The Motion Picture on 13 September. All films start at 20:00 BST.
Attendees will get the chance to "enjoy an all-round experience with themed events, menus, décor, music and staff in costume", according to Mac Birmingham.
There will also be an opportunity for cinemagoers to win prizes for the best dressed film character. Tickets are priced at £10 each.
Among the special food and drink on offer will be the Alien Brain Haemorrhage Cocktail, a beverage made with peach schnapps, Baileys, blue curacao and grenadine syrup.
Improvements to projector technology have made outdoor cinema screenings popular all over the country, with several different locations in London alone showing films in the great outdoors this summer.
