An ultra short throw projector, aimed squarely at making multimedia presentations in small classrooms much easier, is the latest release from projector brand, BenQ.

The MX800UST projector has been optimised for use in small environments with big picture needs, such as seminar rooms for small classes. The model is capable of generating 78-inch, whiteboard-sized images from a distance of just 48 centimetres.

This is enabled through the use of BenQ's unique aspherical lens projection design, which has been specifically and intricately developed for such purposes. The projector is also equipped with an impressive 20W built-in speaker, furthering its presentation and display capabilities.

The design has been honed to require limited maintenance and less glare and shuttering interference. This enhances the model's colour and clarity of readability, giving stable picture performances and eliminating shadow disruptions.

The subtle aesthetics of the projector give users a model that is compact, portable and lightweight, which requires minimal set up.

It provides 2,500 ANSI lumens of brightness, XGA resolution and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. When it comes to connectivity options, it has USB Display, LAN Display and wireless Display options as well as LAN Control networking capability.
