Digital lifestyle brand, BenQ, has launched targeted expansion of its projector models into the Middle Eastern education field at a major trade fair in Dubai.
The brand showcased its flagship educational projector, MP 780 ST, and the innovative Point Draw™ Technology on the first day of Gitex Technology Week, which is taking place this week at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
BenQ's Middle East and Africa general manager, Manish Bakshi, said their growth in the region would heavily rely on capturing a slice of the education display sector.
He explained, "In The Middle East and Africa region, we see a huge potential for technology that enhances the learning experience of a tech-savvy generation. Increasingly we are seeing schools shift from traditional to digital resources using laptops and projectors."
He said Gitex Technology Week 2010 was a perfect platform for them to demonstrate their range of innovative products that aim to transform classrooms across the Middle East.
The recently launched MP780 ST includes the pioneering BenQ PointDraw™ Technology and the ultra short throw MX880UST enables a more interactive learning experience. Both models come with Ultra-Vivid 20W audio power and microphone and are compatible with the new BenQ Dongle - a wireless unit that connects the projectors to laptops without the need for connections or cables.
