BenQ America Corp has released its new MX661 projector, which is squarely aimed at corporate customers.

The projector – which boasts 3,000 lumens of brightness and a 13000:1 contrast ratio – also comprises energy-saving technology which helps to lower the cost of running the device.

The MX661 projector has Colorific(TM) image quality, which enables it to display extremely accurate and long-lasting colour, from a palette of more than one billion shades.

Alongside the projector, BenQ has also rolled out its newest version of wireless software app, Qpresenter, which allows presenters and participants to share files from their handheld smartphones and tablets.

Kristin Kennedy, associate vice president, U.S. Sales at BenQ America Corp, said in a press release: "Our new MX661 is designed to make meeting spaces more connected, collaborative, and simpler to set up. The projector accommodates any of today's BYOD scenarios, provides remote maintenance and monitoring functions, and even incorporates BenQ's forward-thinking SmartEco(TM) technology to lower the device's energy consumption.

“Now today's digital workspaces can enjoy the latest in display and wireless device integration without increasing installation time or total cost of ownership," Ms Kennedy added.
