BenQ’s popularity as a high-quality projector manufacturer in the European market is now being supported by increasingly strong sales in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

The manufacturer has seen 40 per cent year-on-year growth in the region in the year to October 2012, cementing its position one of the leading suppliers in the MEA region.

In the first, second and third quarters of 2012, the brand was the leading projector supplier in the lucrative Saudi Arabian market, with a 26.28 market share. Over the whole MEA region, it was the second biggest supplier of projectors, with a 13.23 per cent market share.

Manish Bakshi, the managing director of BenQ for the Middle East and Africa, said that their success was being led by the excellent quality of their equipment, supported by key channel partners and distributors in the region.

“Our line-up of projectors is packed with innovative features such as our very own mercury-free BlueCore light engine projector, TUV Rheinland 3D Full HD Certified projector, and 2nd generation PointDraw interactive projection technology among others,” he said.

“The continuous growth reinforces the trust our partners and customers have in our products and we will continue to work in providing products that will fulfill market demands as well as remain committed in bringing the latest innovation to the region.”
