BenQ, a global market leader in projector technology, has launched a new SP890 installation projector, specifically designed for larger venues such as auditoriums and conference halls.
The SP890 has full HD and HQV picture quality, with 1080p HD and 4000 ANSI lumen brightness. In addition, the projector has 50,000:1 high contrast ratio and a 1.5X optical zoom, making it ideal for use even in large venues such as concert halls or auditoriums, where brightness and resolution are crucial factors.
The company claims that the SP890 sets a new standard for video presentation as it offers five times more detail than traditional 480p projectors. Its HQV processing is sophisticated and will render HD video in true 1080p high definition. The firm adds that lower resolution video sources including 480i, both analogue and digital, will be converted automatically by the projector to achieve full HD-like picture quality.
The SP890 used BrilliantColorT Technology, which offers a high-speed, 6-segment colour wheel, delivering optimum balance between colour and brightness. Moreover, with its 1.5X big zoom, independent colour management as well as horizontal and vertical lens shift features, the BenQ SP890 is certainly at the forefront of installation projector technology.
