Projector manufacturer BenQ has announced its latest additions to the S Series line of high-brightness projectors, the SX912, SH915 and SW916.

Specifically designed for professional use, the new additions to the range are made to meet the demands of modern classrooms, meeting rooms, lecture theatres and corporate events. Each provides up to 5,000 lumens of brightness to create intense and detailed projections in any environment.

As with the rest of the S Series, the new projectors feature a contrast ratio of 11,000:1, so the company's Colorific performance technology can be harnessed for larger venues, delivering accurate and long-lasting image quality through 1 billion colours.

Each device is also built to reduce the total cost of ownership by eliminating both light burn and colour degradation over a long period, while still providing XGA (in the SX912), WXGA (SX916) and full HD 1080p resolution (SH915).

According to Bob Wudeck, associate VP, Strategy and Business Development at BenQ America Corp., the new projectors integrate the latest technology while focusing on the requirements of the modern professional environment. He said: "Rounded with a number of benefits including Colorific image quality, ease of installation and maintenance, and lamp-saving technology, our new S Series projectors deliver the complete package to amaze audiences while providing important efficiencies for IT and AV managers."
