Projector firm BenQ has launched its new digital home cinema projector, the W11000, in India.

BenQ’s W11000 comes with 4K UHD, THX certification and delivers 8.3 million pixels, offering customers commercial digital-cinema-like picture performance

The projector produces 3840 x 2160 pixels for a true 8.3-million pixel 4K UHD resolution and has single-DMD DLP technology to preserve image and colour accuracy, which is maintained even at 4K resolution.

The device’s 4K system uses 14 high-resolution elements, a sophisticated zoom system and special low-dispersion lens coatings to preserve spectacular visual quality.

To get THX certification, the W11000 underwent 18 months of rigorous development and 200 laboratory tests.
