BenQ America Corp. has announced that the company has become the number one selling Digital Light Processing (DLP) projector brand in North America.
According to the latest Quarterly Projector Shipment and Forecast Report published by PMA Research, BenQ is 2013's fastest-growing display brand, gaining market share with a number of unique display solutions.
Within the report, PMA Research stated that BenQ's top-selling home entertainment projector in the US was the W1070, while the brand's Colorific projectors placed the firm in the number three position. The company has also retained an impressive standing across the globe, reaching the number two position for overall projector brand worldwide.
Following recent success, BenQ is planning to unveil a number of new projectors at InfoComm 2014, the largest annual conference and exhibition for audio/video buyers and sellers from across the world. These latest launches will include a high-brightness PU9730 and TH963 projectors, both of which feature 6,000-7,000 Colorific lumens and a variety of performance enhancing features. The firm also plans to introduce their first 4K Ultra HD products, including the first ever 4K Ultra HD CAD/CAM display.
