Barco has announced the launch of a new DLP projector, which the company is targeting at events and large venues.
The firm revealed that the HDF-W30 FLEX is a three-chip DLP, 30,000 lumens model with WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) resolution.
Richard Marples, Barco's strategic marketing director for venues and hospitality, explained that Barco is already the industry leader for projectors for large events and the launch of the new HDF-W30 FLEX will ensure the company holds its position at the top of the pile.
He said: "The HDF platform was previously limited to only 26,000 lumens but with the launch of this new upgraded 30K lumens model, we now cover the entire brightness spectrum – from 10K to 40K lumens, without gaps – offering rental companies the widest choice in brightness levels on the market."
The new HDF-W30 FLEX from Barco boasts top features such as single Xenon lamp illumination and a high-contrast optical engine, as well as being a perfect match for the firm's Moving Mirror System.
Barco will be showing off the new projector at the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe trade show, which is taking place at RAI Amsterdam from 10-12 February. Barco can be found at Hall 11, booths F78 and H75.
