Projector manufacturer Barco is celebrating after the firm was picked out as the winner of a Polycom Technology Partner Innovation award.
The prize was given to the firm as part of the recent TEAM Polycom 2015 event, the company's annual partner conference, which took place in Orlando, Florida, earlier in the month.
Barco's Technology Partner Innovation Award was partly given to the company for its ClickShare product, which enables high-quality screen sharing and remote collaboration.
The system, which works regardless of where users are located, can be used by firms to facilitate decision-making in distributed work environments.
Patrick Lee, vice-president of entertainment and corporate for Barco, stated that ClickShare can result in a vast improvement in the way companies are able to collaborate within their organisations, as it can eliminate the technical barriers to sharing content on-screen.
He said: "Now, by harnessing the power of PolyCom’s video teleconferencing solutions, ClickShare's wireless presentation capabilities extend beyond the meeting room to encompass remote locations, enabling true global collaboration."
ClickShare can be easily combined with Polycom's Video Teleconferencing functionality to expand its presentation and collaboration capabilities across the globe, which is one of the major reasons why the firm was selected to win the Polycom Technology Partner Innovation award.
Ted Colton, Polycom Group vice-president of strategic alliances, stated that technology partners are a "key component" of Polycom's partner ecosystem.
He added: "Every day our joint efforts are making video collaboration accessible for a wider array of organisations across leading industries, vertical markets and business functions."
