Acer has announced it is launching three new full HD projectors to add to its range.
The company, which is currently the world's number three brand in the projector industry, revealed the ultra-short throw U5520B, as well as the V7500 and H6518BD.
Each of the new Acer projectors has been equipped with the manufacturer's ColorBoost3D and ColorSafe II enhancement technologies, which the firm says provides true and natural colours, even after extended use.
The ultra-short throw U5520B projector has been designed for use in classrooms and is able to create images up to 87-inches at just 35cm from the screen.
Acer said: "Teachers will appreciate the optional Acer Smart Pen, which can be used for on-screen writing and remote control for up to two users to encourage classroom interaction."
The 3,200 lumens Acer H6518BD projector is targeted at the home entertainment market, with built-in 2D-to-3D conversion technology ensuring no extra software is needed to run the device.
Finally, the Acer V7500 has been engineered with home theatres in mind, with the product able to support 100 per cent of the sRGB colour gamut for excellent colour accuracy.
The Acer V7500, H6518BD and U5520B projectors are expected to start shipping in Q3 2015, but the company has not yet revealed the exact specifications, prices and availability for the new devices as they will vary by region.
