The new Acer P5403 projector offers home cinema users SXGA+ (1400×1050) resolution and 3D capabilities that can transform any flat surface into a three dimensional display.
The projector's DLP 3D ready technology uses 120Hz refresh rates to create impeccable pictures, while the True 24p feature - when used with the HDMI port - means the model is able to display 24fps 1080p video content from a Blu-ray Disc player.
The newly-launched projector is capable of providing up to 3,500 lumens of brightness with a 3,000:1 contrast ratio. Its compliance with the Crestron Network System allows users full control of the model via LAN, including complete remote projection management, system administrator capabilities and emergency text broadcasting.
The projector has a versatile and durable lens that offers vertical keystone correction of up to 40 degrees. The top-loading lamp system is practical and easy to use, while the lamp itself has a lamp life of up to 3,000 hours.
The P5403 is also equipped with Acer's unique EcoProjection system, which sets the device to enter 'eco' mode if it has not had any input signal for more than five minutes. This creates energy savings of up to 20 per cent.
