Acer has launched a brand new projector – the H6510BD – to stake its place in the increasingly competitive budget-priced home video projector field.
The affordable H6510BD is a single chip projector based on Texas Instruments’ DLP technology. The device has native resolution of 1080p, a six-segment colour wheel, a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and is supported by 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness.
As a video projector the H6510BD is able to guarantee utmost fidelity to the original source, displaying thrilling action sequences at an authentic 24p frame rate, aided by AcuMotion's blur control.
Its lamp excels in terms of lifespan, capable of running for 4,000 hours in standard mode, 5,000 hours in the projector’s ECO mode and even up to 7,000 hours in the Extreme ECO mode.
The versatile projector is capable of throwing images of up to 300 inches in size and features both 2D and 3D viewing from Blu-ray Disc Player and PC sources – including HDMI®, DVI and VGA connections – as well as built-in 2D-to-3D conversion.
Industry insiders believe that the H6510BD is one of the least expensive quality video projectors available and is being hailed as a worthy tool for home cinema viewing.
