Acer adds the S1370Whn projector to its education range

The S1370Whn projector is Acer’s latest addition to its range of education-focused projectors, featuring short throw capabilities, LAN control and compatibility with the Crestron Network Control.

The projector is able to create crisp and sharp images from a distance of as short as 98 centimetres, allowing presenters to avoid creating shadows or looking into the beams.

The projector also comes with 3D capabilities through its DLP 3D Ready technology, allowing for any lesson to be turned into an engaging three-dimensional experience.

In terms of connectivity, the S1370Whn has two sets of D-Sub and Audio connectors, allowing users to connect the projector to PCs, for more flexible connectivity and instant switching. Besides offering more connectivity options, the HDMI port provides seamless connection to the latest digital sources ensuring exceptional high-definition viewing.

The projector has brightness of 2,500 ANSI lumens, with a 10,000:1 contrast ratio and native WXGA resolution, lending exceptional quality to the brightness, colour and clarity of its images. The proprietary Acer ColorBoost II+ technology reproduces images with more natural and balanced shades, while using Acer SpectraBoost – a colour-wheel coating technology that boosts colour saturation – to provide a wider colour gamut.

Its ExtemeEco technology allows for power savings of up to 70 per cent if the projector detects that it has had no input signal for a while.
