3M, the diversified technology company, has launched two new pocket projectors that it says will simplify and enhance the day-to-day work of the modern, mobile professional.

The latest models in their MP range – the MP180 and the MP160 – both offer 30 lumens of brightness and two hours of constant battery life, as well as 4GB of internal memory, the full colour gamut, SVGA resolution and an LED light source with a 20,000-hour life.

Marketing Manager for 3M’s Mobile Interactive Solutions Division, Nick Hughes, said, "These new models mark the emergence of the latest, leading-edge pocket projector technology and are stirring up great excitement among those that have been tracking pocket projection since 3M launched the first device in this category in 2008."

He said the impressive specifications of the models offer something for everyone with their feature-rich qualities and make for impressive presentations and business services.

The MP180 is a complete hand-held projector package, measuring 150 mm x 65 mm x 33 mm and weighing just 338 grams. Its storage capacity and connectivity include a micro SD card slot, and USB as well as Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth compatibility. It is operated by a touch screen panel.

The MP160 is an ideal plug and play connectivity device, coming in a smaller, slimline casing, while still enabling the projection of images and videos up to 80 inches onto any surface.
