Extensive Connectivity Options

Solstice is truly cross-platform. Whether you are an Android, Windows, iOS or OS user you can connect simply and effortlessly to a Solstice POD

With inbuilt Miracast and Airplay support, Android, Windows and Mac users can stream their device content to the Solstice pod without the need to install any software.

The Solstice App takes screen sharing a step further by allowing you to share specific video files, images and web content from your device. The Solstice App also allows for easy control of the layout of shared content on the meeting room display as well as a moderator mode to secure your meetings.

As well as streaming from devices, the Solstice app for Windows and Mac laptops can also be run from a USB dongle with no installation, dependencies, or libraries required on the client laptop. Create a fleet of USB solstice dongles ready for use in your meetings for just the cost of the USB flash drive!

Multi Room Sessions (Enterprise Edition licence required)

Up to 4 Enterprise Edition Solstice Pods on the same network can connect to the same Multi-Room session, and starting a Multi-Room session is as easy as clicking the ‘Start Multi-Room Session’ after connecting to a Pod. Multi-Room sessions can be discovered by other users on the network, making an ad-hoc meeting as simple as possible, but invitations to join can also be sent from the Solstice app and may include relevant teleconferencing information such as a dial-in number.

Solstice Ink

Solstice Ink is embedded within the Solstice app (available for iOS and Android) that meeting participants can use from the comfort of their seats to highlight and temporarily mark-up content shared to a Solstice-enabled display. It is the only wireless, smartphone-based, point-and-annotate solution on the market.

When content is displayed on a Solstice-enabled display, users press and hold the app’s Solstice Ink button or drag the button to the center of their device screen, to use their phone as a wireless pointing and annotation tool. To call attention to specific content, tapping the Solstice Ink button makes a pointer pulse on-screen. Dragging the Solstice Ink button to the center of the smartphone screen and holding it gives users the ability to draw on the shared document simply by pointing and moving their phone in the air.

What’s more, multiple users can simultaneously use Solstice Ink to highlight and mark-up a screen-shared document. No longer is the single person touching a screen or manipulating a mouse the only one in control of the annotation function. Now everyone in the room who has the Solstice Ink app installed on their phones can weigh-in simultaneously, allowing for true collaboration and improved meeting flow.

The Solstice Dashboard

A centralised management tool that can be used to monitor, configure, and update Solstice Enterprise Edition Pods and Windows Software instances on a network.
The Dashboard provides the following features.

Centralised Management

The Solstice Dashboard provides technology managers with a tool to configure, monitor, manage, and control all the Solstice endpoints across the host network — from one or multiple admin workstation(s).

Enterprise Features

In addition to one-to-many management, the Solstice Dashboard exposes additional features only available for Enterprise Edition licenses, including Solstice multi-room, welcome screen customisation, network encryption, quality of service (QoS) support, and much more.

Software For Windows

The Solstice Dashboard software for Windows is free to download and is compatible with Enterprise Edition Solstice Pods and Windows Display Software licenses.

Solstice Discovery Service (SDS)

An IT-friendly, non-broadcast mechanism that allows users to discover and click-to-connect to Solstice displays from their own devices to start sharing content.
SDS contains the following components

Streamline User Connections

Enable users to see a list of solstice displays on their network with simple click-to-connect functionality. SDS supports this capability without the use of UDP broadcast/multicast networks, which is usually forbidden on IT managed networks. Learn more on

Solstice Multi Room

Solstice Discovery Service is a required component of Solstice Multi Room. SDS enables users to discover and join Multi Room collaboration sessions from new locations

DNS Support

DNS support has been added to SDS, enabling users to activate SDS on their devices by entering an intuitive URL onscreen instead of the IP address.


Mersive Kepler is a cloud-based service that streamlines day-to-day oversight of Solstice deployments and provides data analytics on meeting space collaboration and utilisation. By collecting data from Solstice Pods installed in meeting spaces, Kepler empowers organisations to drive greater meeting space usability, productivity, and ROI.
Kepler allows you to detect and resolve meeting room issues before meeting participants even notice. Kepler’s cloud-based service delivers real-time data on the status and health of your Solstice deployment including meeting room problems, security setting changes, and Pod health and activity.

Kepler analytics empower technology and facilities managers to make data-driven planning and budget decisions about meeting rooms based on utilisation. Data tracked by Kepler includes peak meeting hours, most used rooms, average meeting duration, and more.
