Being close has its advantage
The short throw (0.7:1 ratio) reduces the distance of projector to screen to about one third of regular projectors! In ceiling mount mode, it eliminates the shadowing of the presenter when coming closer to the screen. In desktop mode, it will allow you to move your projector from the center of the table to the very front. It will therefore be less obtrusive to the collaborative meeting. The short throw feature enables the easy integration of the XS1 with Interactive Whiteboards and it's broad analog and digital input range lets you connect any data or video source to the projector. In addition the on board serial RS232 control makes it easy to integrate the XS1 into the asset management system of the establishment
