In addition to increased brightness and contrast over the old Epson EH-TW7200, the new EH-TW7300 brings 4K UHD image enhancement technology and HDR content support to the party features which until now were reserved for Epson's Flagship Laser Home cinema model.

Out of the box there are few noticeable tweaks to the chassis design. The TW7300 has a slightly larger footprint to its predecessor the EH-TW7200, but has had the chassis lines rounded and softened and the front air vents reduced in height to produce a much more aesthetically pleasing design. A full matte white chassis also lends itself well to blending with the average living room ceiling.

Switching the TW7300 on brings the new motorised lens cover into action, sliding back to reveal the lens. Positioning the image on screen as ever is quick and simple thanks to large and unchanged optics with 96.3% on the vertical axis, 47.1 and the horizontal axis and a 2.1x optical zoom. New to the TW7300 is motorised lens shift, zoom and focus, previously on the EH-TW7200 this was all manual adjustment.

Once setup and running in cinema mode preset which we notched down to -2 on brightness for our demo room bat cave like environment, we connected our Panasonic 4K UHD player to the HDMI1 input (which is HDCP2.2 compliant, a prerequisite for 4K UHD playback) and fired up our UHD HDR disc of the Amazing Spider Man. Epson really have done a superb job with the 4K enhancement technology with the clarity and detail to the image looking very impressive indeed. As expected images that contain smaller text or intricate detail are soft in comparison to a native 4K projector such as the Sony VW260ES, but at approx half the price of a native 4K projector, if budget is a consideration then it's a compromise most will be happy to live with.

Recently reviewed over on AVFroums, they had the following comments to say about the TW7300 :

“You just can't get the superb picture quality and features anywhere else for the money”
“With the EH-TW7300 Epson have really set the cat amongst the pigeons in terms of features and picture quality and are doing it at £2,200, which is simply unheard of until now.”
“Quite frankly nothing comes close in terms of performance and features under £3,000 and the Epson EH-TW7300 is quite rightly held up as an absolute Best Buy!”

      Stunning Product & Great Support

This was a big investment for me and I needed to find a suitable HD projector to fit my room that required a 6 meter throw distance. I did as much research as possible in advance and then started to speak to projector resellers across the UK. Out of all the companies the only one that spent time with me understanding my requirements and recommending suitable products was PROJECTOR POINT. Eventually after much discussion and soul searching I decided on the EPSON EH-TW7300 based very much on trust with Matt at Projector Point.

Wow was that the right decision, the TW7300 arrived next day and was installed by myself over the weekend, the installation was simple and connectivity to my SKY Q, Games Console and UHD Blu-Ray Player was a breeze. The unit fits snug the ceiling and I get the exact picture throw as calculated by Matt at Projector Point.

Image Quality is simply amazing, and when fed with HD or 4K content the picture quality just jumps out at you. We use the projector in both Light and Dark environments without any issue of the image looking washed out.

I have fed 4K/25, 4K/25, 1080p/24 , 1080p/25, 1080i and 576i without any problems. The blacks are deep and the brightness just jaw dropping.

Now for fast movement such as football, World Rally, Rugby etc... This is when expected to see movement artefacts. However my concerns had no substance, the movement is smooth and easy on the eye even for prolonged viewing.

Spending over £2000 on a projector is a big investment but honestly if the budget is there please go and check out this product and make sure you contact Projector Point first because they are a great bunch of folk who genuinely care about your purchase and listen to your requirements. I have no other relationship with Projector point outside this purchase but honestly it was pleasure working with them even though my bank balance was quickly depleted.

      Excellent projector and buying experience

I always wanted a good quality home cinema projector as i like to watch movies and sports on a big screen. TRUE 4K projectors are very expensive, during my search i came across the Epson TW-EH7300 projector from Epson which has got 4K enhancement and HDR capabilities at an affordable price.

While surfing through the net i came across projectorpoint, called them and i was not disappointed at all, the customer service was excellent and the projector arrived in time as promised.

It's such a beauty! I did the installation myself, connected to a Panasonic 4K/HDR blue player and sky Q box and the image quality is awesome. I highly recommend this projector if you want 4k quality with HDR within a budget projector.

Projectorpoint are also highly recommended they have excellent customer service and the projector came with a bundle offer as well. I will buy again from Projectorpoint in future if i need something else.

      Great Product and Support

This was my first projector for a newly dedicated home cinema room. Having read up on the projectors available at this price point, it was a bit of a no-brainer with 4K support. There was always a bit of my mind that wondered if it would really manage 4K to a decent standard. Answer was a resounding yes. Even out of the box the images this projector can throw are eye poppingly detailed, crisp and bright. A little tinkering with the settings and I've got a picture that's better than the local cinema!?

The guys at projectorpoint have been incredibly helpful. Upon ordering, they kept me notified every step of the way around expected stock and delivery. They even took time out to help me overcome a minor niggle I had with the projector. Combine this with the competitive price and the offer of a free ceiling mount, the experience with these guys has been nothing short of fantastic.

      Best Value 4K Projector

I have now been using this projector for 5 months and I truly can say I'm amazed with the picture quality! I had no problems so far. The service from Projector Point that Mathew provided was great. And they also helped me with other advice too for the screen and the cabling. After a vast research for months and using it for the last 5 months, with confidence I can say this is the best Projector for the money (under £5k) you can buy. My 65'' Samsung TV Screen Size looks like a dwarf next to this. Recommend it to everyone!

      Awesome, you won’t be disappointed!

For years I thought about building a cinema room. And, with the help of Projector point, the idea has now become a reality.

A few months ago a room in my house ‘became free’ which was the ideal time to start building my home cinema. As the building work progressed I started researching projectors, screens, and audio. I had a good idea for the projector I wanted, and searched for suppliers. From the three suppliers I liked the look of, I read reviews and contacted the two ‘best’ companies. Projector Point came out came out on top, with some good advice, quick responses to queries, and product knowledge.

I had a basic understanding of projectors, I knew what I wanted to view, my budget, and expectations. But I was unsure that the projector I was thinking of would be up to the task, and worth the expense. A few emails to Projector Point and my mind was put at ease.

After the order was placed the projector was delivered within a day or two. The set up was as easy as Projector Point said it would be. Basically plug it in, set the lens adjustment to the screen. Connect a HDMI cable to your home theatre system, and enjoy the movie.

I pushed my budget to the limit, when I bought the Epson EH-TW7300. Spending over £2000 on a projector was something I was extremely cautious of doing, I was unsure about the complexity of the machine, I didn’t know if it would be as good as I hoped. But William from Projector Point was right, and I’m so happy with my investment.

The projector is currently running on ‘eco mode’ and the performance is outstanding. We are viewing a 72” screen from around 2m / 2.3m. The detail, colour, speed, and motion across the screen is fantastic. And 3D movies, in my opinion, are better than the ‘big screen’ at the local Cineworld cinema.

As it’s a projector it does have a cooling fan. And with my set up the projector sits about three ft. above our heads, so I wanted a projector that was almost silent. With the TW7300 the fan is barely noticeable, only during the quietest scenes can you hear the whisper quiet fan at work, ambient noise outside of the room is more apparent.

I would recommend this projector to anyone who wants to create a home cinema of their own. And, if you’re looking to buy any equipment for your cinema, I would definitely recommend Projector Point.
