review The Epson EH-TW6700 picks up where the EH-TW6600 left off. Retained features include horizontal and vertical lens shift, 1.32-21.5:1 lens ratio and 1.6x optical zoom all of which make for a highly flexible projector in where it can be positioned in relation to the screen.
Brightness wise, there has been an increase of 500 lumens taking it to 3000 lumens so this projector is a good choice if you want to watch movies , sports or gaming with lights on or curtains left open. Although the brightness has increased this has not been at the sacrifice of black levels. Its worth spending a little time with a calibration disc such as Spears an Munsil's HD essentials to tweak the standard cinema out the box preset. The end result is a nicely balanced picture in terms of black levels, contrast and colour saturation for a superb natural looking image.
Price vs Specification the EH-TW6700 is very hard to beat. If you are looking for a projector in the sub £1200 price bracket put this one at the top of your shopping list!
