    Great Projector

I've only had the projector for a month now but i'm very impressed the 4k and Hd quality there are excellent colour and black levels I can't say about the levels in a bright room because i just prefer to watch movies in a dark room. The 3D on this works better than any other projector i've owned and the depth is very impressive it's very easy to set up and has a backlit remote witch is handy in a dark room the build quality feels good obviously only time will tell but I would recommend to any one looking for a good priced 4K DLP

Excellent combination of features at a relatively competitive price

This is our first projector that we bought for our bedroom cinema. I had been closely following the interest in the AV community leading up to its launch, and had heard good things about what to expect.

I am glad to report that overall, I am very pleased with the projector. It's a pretty good-looking projector with very good build quality and looks smarter than other projectors in this price bracket. Although I had to return the original unit as the 4K module was unusually buzzy, the replacement was promptly arranged, and has been perfect. If I have to be very picky then I would say the image is a little soft up-close when compared to our 75 inch TV (hardly a fair comparison), and the chromatic aberration is quite evident when stood right next to the screen. However, it all disappears once you move couple of meters away. At that distance the image, especially when fed 4K signal, is beautifully crisp and colors just pop out without looking overly saturated. In my opinion, the image right out of the box is excellent, and you also get a unique calibration certificate with each unit to back that up. This being a home cinema projector benefits from light controlled rooms, but then the image it throws is plenty bright. I do not even bother to run the projector in Normal mode as Eco is bright enough. Our cinema was not complete when I got the projector, and the built-in speakers came in handy for watching the odd movie. They sounded quite satisfying but obviously, you have to keep your expectations reasonable! Talking of sound, the fan is a bit louder than I would like in Normal mode, but is quite enough in Eco mode to be not too distracting.

Finally, one big feature that shifted my decision in this projector’s favour is its ability to do 3D. This projector outputs excellent 3D image, and I do not think there is anything currently out there with the upgraded DMD chip that can do 3D in this price bracket. The image is smooth and very cinematic. The 3D specifically gets a big thumbs-up from the missus!!

Overall, I would happily recommend this projector to anyone looking for home cinema projector in this price range.
