Our review on the InFocus SP8604 Projector

Having taken a look a the SP8604, InFocus return to the home cinema arena in an impressive way!

The ScreenPlay range has always been regarded as having vibrant, crisp images and following on from the ScreenPlay IN82 / IN83, the SP8604 has not let us down.

Out of the box picture presents were good but after 10 mins or so having played around with the numerous user adjustments available - the resulting picture was really really impressive. We also closed the Iris down to setting 3 which produced deep rich blacks - the best we have seen on a projector at this price point.

Whilst not as good as the Epson models in terms of Vertical and Horizontal Lens Shift, the SP8604 still offers more than enough flexibilty to suit virtually any environment. There is also an optional long throw and short throw lens available if the standard supplied lens does not fit your room set up. (please contact us for pricing)

There are a few other models to consider in this price range but for features,flexibilty and overall picture quality, for us the Infocus SP8604 is the one to beat
