Our review on the BenQ W1000 Projector

Having taken a look at the BenQ W1000 in our demo room,  producing 2000 lumens brightness and a 3000:1 Contrast Ratio the W1000 is a great choice if you want to view your movies or tv with low level lighting on or if you cant control Ambient Light in the room.

Numerous video inputs allow simultaneous connection of such sources as PlayStation 3, XBOX 360, Blu ray dvd player and a PC using the remote to flick between them.

Colours are rich, vibrant and crisp. Out of the box colour presets acheive natural lifelike skin tones whilst black levels at this price point are amongst the best we have seen to date on entry level DLP 1080p models.

If you want to get into high definition home cinema but do not own any full 1080p content such as blu ray dvd's or SKY HD / FREESAT and don't envisage yourself getting any of these 3 anytime soon, a great cost effective way would be to start out at 720p resolution instead.
