Not too long ago, my classroom projector (6 year old BenQ projector) was switched for the BenQ MP771. I must say... great quality and functionality!!!!! Perhaps my enthusiasm is boosted by the fact that the last projector that I was using was too old and has been breaking down for the past year (not even working properly sometimes). But never the less, I must say, 3000 lumens really benefits the picture quality, because the color contrast and clarity is just phenomenal!
The fact that it's short throw, makes me love it even more! You can put it where ever you want which is perfect for my setting, which is a small classroom that seems to be overfilled with useless (not really) material! So I could store the projector after being used and take it out and set it up within ten minutes before class. The short throw also eliminates the usual blinding light that you see shining from the projector while you present, because it is short throw it is not directly shining at you!
Awesome awesome work BenQ, I would only recommend a price reduction if possible so that perhaps everyone could afford it = )
