Vision Techconnect Range

Techconnect is a modular family of products designed to suit any IT, AV, pro audio, office, or home cinema installation. It is simple enough that a moderately experienced technician can easily install it. The modules are interchangeable, so if in the future you require a different connector to be installed, you can simply buy just the module you want, and swap it out.
It doesn't require soldering at all due to its phoenix connector captive screw design.

Cables come with a connector on one end to plug into your audio-visual equipment, and the other end is pre-prepared bare-wire ready for connection to the techconnect. Because it doesn't have a connector it fits through small gaps as you feed the cable, and it can be easily cut to length if you can't hide the excess.Most of the other faceplates on the market are bespoke and made to order but the Techconnect's popular modular design gives you maximum flexibility.

Vision - 1:2 VGA Splitter

1:2 VGA SPLITTER
There are many applications where you need to distribute your PC output to more than one monitor, and the Vision VGA splitter is a convenient low-cost VGA distribution amplifier for that purpose.

MOUNTING EARS
It features a purpose-built chassis with mounting ears which allow easy attachment under tables, in cupboards, or lecterns.

HD RESOLUTION
With a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1440 the VGA Splitter is capable of transmitting HD signals.

BUFFERS
A computer image is split over 5 cables for transmission and is very weak, so it’s important to keep each of the five signals at their strength to achieve full signal-to-noise ratio.

BOOSTS
Every time you introduce a join into a cable it reduces the signal strength by 3dB, so it’s important to boost the signal as you go. Simply by introducing the VGA Splitter into the chain you can ensure maximum quality transmission over a long cable run.

Vision AV-1301 50W AMPLIFIER

With a whopping 2 x 25w (RMS at 8 ohms) of power the AV-1301 has powerful sound reinforcement capabilities for a huge range of applications. Optimised to drive low-impedance speakers with a power handling of up to 80w such as the Vision SP-1300 or CS-1300 loudspeakers, it is ideal for use in corporate training rooms, meeting rooms, and classrooms.

FLEXIBLE
For flexibility the AV-1301 has four stereo inputs via stereo phono (RCA) connectors. This means you’ve got loads of input options for a typical installation environment. You can amplify output from iPods, laptops and PCs, cassette, CD, DVD, VHS, minidisk, tuners – anything.

READY TO INSTALL
Two thick 5m speaker cables are included, plus two patch cables are included to allow instant easy connection of AV peripherals: 1 x 2-phono to 2-phono cable, and 1 x 2-phono to 3.5mm minijack. There is no preparation time in the warehouse or onsite; just takeit out of the box and go!

Techconnect TC2-AMP2 2x20w Digital Amplifier Module

Quick-Access Input - Two Inputs are wired into the rear with removable phoenix connectors, however a new feature of this amplifier is that Input 1 is duplicated on the front panel with a minijack socket for convenience. This half-normalled input disconnects the rear terminal while in use.

Green D-Class Amplifier - Digital amplifiers use no power unless they are amplifying program, so even on at full volume; unless it is receiving input it is effectively off. Digital amplifiers also have the advantage of running cold so a bulky heatsink is not necessary… but don’t let size deceive you: the Techconnect Amp² can drive into a 4 ohm load allowing you to power up to four 8 ohm speakers (or two 4 ohm speakers).

LED Display - A clear display makes the product easy to use and a simple soft-control interface gives instant access to controls. Because the control panel can be installed anywhere in the room it is more convenient than traditional powered speakers where access to the controls can be awkward.

Laptop-style power supply - A 3m DC tail which can be shortened means easy routing of power cable through trunking. Velcro is included for fixing the power supply in place, or a blank surround is available to hide it in a standard double-gang UK backbox.

CS-1300 CEILING SPEAKERS
Ceiling speakers are easy to install, discreet, and more importantly spread sound evenly throughout a room. Everybody in the room should hear the audio at the same spl (sound pressure level), rather than those at the front being blasted!

HIGH-QUALITY COMPONENTS
The CS-1300 ceiling speakers feature a two-way design giving full-bandwidth sound with control and clarity. The main driver is a 6.5” polypropylene cone complimented by a ferro-fluid cooled silk tweeter set in a swivel mount for fine tuning of the stereoscopic image.

FULL RANGE
These low impedance speakers don't sacrifice frequency range in the way that 100/70v speakers inherently do, meaning lower bass and higher treble.

EASY FIT
Simple to mount into false ceiling tiles, the CS-1300 is the audio contractor’s ultimate product for ease of installation. Get a 210mm hole-saw from your local hardware supplier (such as a Starrett STRHS210 with an arbor), drill a hole, and fit the speaker! It’s clean and easy. Each package contains a pair of speakers and a cardboard cut-out guide.

UNOBTRUSIVE
The contemporary grille design makes the finished installation less intrusive than wall-mounted speakers, resulting in a more professional installation finish. They match the ceiling tiles, and can be positioned throughout a room for maximum dispersion.
