Number-one selling projector brand Epson has teamed up with one of the world's top interactive teaching technologies providers to offer customers next generation projection software.
Created in association with Mimio, the new MimioStudio classroom software is now available for purchase with Epson BrightLink interactive projectors to provide schools with advanced opportunities for interactivity and collaboration within a classroom setting.
Epson BrightLink Interactive projectors are a line of short-throw and ultra short-throw interactive projectors that are designed to provide advanced connectivity options within a classroom setting. Capable of projecting on to whiteboards or walls, the projector also features dual pen support and annotation technology to allow direct interaction.
Designed specifically for use with the BrightLink line MimioStudio allows teachers to create interactive lessons for large or small group teaching. Capable of supporting pens, touches and gestures, the software also contains Mimio's Collaborative feature, which allows students to work at the same time using mobile devices that are enabled with the MimioMobile application.
MimioStudio licences are now being sold with the projectors via Epson's reseller network, but the software can also be purchased separately for existing BrightLink customers to enable collaborative classroom teaching on older projectors within the range.
