InFocus has launched its new IN146 short-throw projector, which has been designed with classrooms in mind.
The projector can be used with an interactive whiteboard and is ideal for smaller rooms, providing a short-throw projection with 1280×800 resolution without any HD upscaling required.
Small enough to be installed on either a wall or ceiling, the projector can also be placed on a tabletop or media cart.
It is capable of displaying a 1.5m image from just 0.7m from the projection surface and has a 3000:1 contrast ratio.
With the optional InFocus LiteShow III wireless adaptor, the projector can be turned into a wireless and networked display, while its RS232 port can be connected to Creston, AMX or room control systems.
The IN146 is 3D compatible and has HDMI and VGA inputs, plus a built-in 2-watt mono speaker.
The projector lamp is long-life, offering up to 6,000 hours of use with 2,700 lumens of light output.
For anyone who needs a short-throw projector in their home, office or school, the IN146 will come in handy.
